Model usage is billed at provider cost plus a 20% Runva service fee. Computer time has a separate rate. Retained storage costs $0.20 per GiB-month and isn't included in this estimate.

What counts as usage?

Model calls, cloud Computer awake time, and retained Computer storage. Model calls are billed at provider cost plus a 20% Runva service fee. Computer time is billed only while awake. Retained storage is measured in GiB-hours for as long as it is kept.

What does the Runva runtime charge pay for?

The model service fee pays for orchestration, tools, indexing, state, and processing around the model. It is 20% of provider model cost across plans. Computer time and retained storage have separate usage rates.

Does everyone in a workspace use the same plan?

Yes. A workspace is Free, Pro, or Hyper, and that plan sets its Runva runtime rate, computer sizes, Builder limits, and visible history. Everyone shares one dollar credit balance. People in a paid workspace can be Builders or Collaborators.

Who needs a paid seat?

Anyone who creates or manages agents and automations needs a Builder seat. Pro and Hyper include one Builder; each additional Builder is $25 a month. Collaborators can run shared agents, review results, comment, and approve actions for free.

What happens to credit when a workspace changes plans?

Changing plans doesn't reset credit expiration. Each new purchase expires 12 months from its purchase date, and Runva spends the earliest-expiring credit first. Only the unused remainder expires. Signup promotional credit expires after 90 days; other grants expire on the date shown.

What happens to history after a downgrade?

Runva stores one year of history. Free can view 30 days, Pro can view 90 days, and Hyper can view the full year. Downgrading hides older history without deleting it; upgrading makes it visible again until it reaches one year old.

What happens to automations if I downgrade to Free?

Existing active automations keep running and use your workspace credit, even if you have more than 50. You can edit them or turn them off. Creating or enabling another requires fewer than 50 active automations or a paid plan. Nothing is automatically paused or deleted.

Does an idle agent cost anything?

An idle agent has no separate monthly charge. Its cloud Computer stops accruing awake time when it sleeps, but retained files, paused state, and snapshots continue to accrue storage until they are deleted.

Do agents need seats?

No. Agents do not occupy seats. They count toward the limit of the Builder who creates or owns them, and any Collaborator in the workspace can use an agent shared with them.

Do I need a new agent for each job?

No. An agent is a lasting identity with its own instructions and access. The same agent can work through its primary Thread, additional Threads, and automation runs. Temporary subagents do not use another agent allowance.

What counts as an active automation?

An automation counts when it is turned on. Free includes 50 active automations per workspace; Pro and Hyper have no automation count cap. Turning one off keeps its settings and history while freeing that capacity. Credit and spending limits still apply to execution.

Are Builder limits shared?

The workspace shares one credit balance and its automation allowance. Active cloud Computer limits are per Builder: a Computer counts against its custodian while it is reserved, warming, or awake.

How do active Computers count?

Each reserved, warming, or awake cloud Computer uses one slot from its custodian's limit. Several Runs and background jobs can share that Computer without consuming extra slots. When the Builder or provider limit is full, another Computer waits durably while its Agent keeps reasoning and using non-Computer tools.

Can I pay annually?

Yes. Annual billing saves 20% on the workspace plan and Builder seats. Usage is still purchased separately as needed.

Can I add more capacity without contacting sales?

Yes. Add a Builder, upgrade the workspace, or choose a larger computer in the app. You do not need a custom plan or a sales call.
